Around 100 staff of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan are assisting people with disabilities during the VI World Nomad Games, the ministry's press service reports.
From 1 to 6 September the specialists will give advice, help visitors find their way around the grounds and assist with movement.
For people using wheelchairs, special transport is provided at the Gazprom sports complex to accompany them to the venues.
Special signs have also been installed at the venues. Ministry staff work in recognisable vests with a logo so that visitors can quickly ask for help.
The ministry says its main task is to make participation in the Nomad Games accessible, comfortable and safe for people with disabilities.
