From August 31 to September 6, 2026, the Kyrgyz Republic will host the VI World Nomad Games.
The opening ceremony will take place on August 31 in the city of Bishkek, at the Bishkek Arena venue. The entire main program of the Games will be held in the Issyk-Kul region: it will host the key competitions of the sports program, the events of the cultural program, and the activities of the scientific program. The closing ceremony will take place on September 6 on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.
Participants and guests from more than 100 countries are expected. The World Nomad Games will once again highlight the role of the Kyrgyz Republic as an international platform for the dialogue of cultures and respect for traditions.
