A meeting was held between Belek Usenbekov, First Deputy Head of the International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games, and Matthew David Smith, Director of the US Peace Corps in the Kyrgyz Republic. The parties discussed cooperation and the participation of Peace Corps volunteers in the sports competitions at the 6th World Nomad Games.
The mission of the Peace Corps is to strengthen peace and friendship among peoples through the development of mutual understanding, cultural exchange, and volunteer service — which directly corresponds to the spirit of the World Nomad Games, aimed at uniting countries and preserving cultural heritage.
As a reminder, Peace Corps volunteers took an active part in the ordo competitions and intellectual games at the 3rd World Nomad Games in 2018 in the Kyrgyz Republic.
