Today, 4 September, the Gazprom sports and fitness complex hosted the kazakh kures competition of the VI World Nomad Games.
Sixty-five athletes from 32 countries took part.
Winners and medallists:
Up to 60 kg:
- 1st place — Ernur Suleiman (Kazakhstan)
- 2nd place — Giorgi Inashvili (Georgia)
- 3rd place — Khurshidbek Choriev (Uzbekistan)
- 3rd place — Serdar Babamuradov (Turkmenistan)
Up to 82 kg:
- 1st place — Umid Esenov (Uzbekistan)
- 2nd place — Nurdaulet Baktybaiuly (Kazakhstan)
- 3rd place — Pouria Shokri (Iran)
- 3rd place — Gleb Golov (Russia)
Over 100 kg:
- 1st place — Orozbek Almazbekov (Kyrgyzstan)
- 2nd place — Nurdaulet Zharylgapov (Kazakhstan)
- 3rd place — Bakhridin Abduraiymov (Uzbekistan)
- 3rd place — Tomasz Szczepaniak (Poland)
The medallists received the following cash prizes:
- 1st place — 100,000 soms
- 2nd place — 80,000 soms
- 3rd place — 60,000 soms.
