Today, 3 September, the Gazprom sports and fitness complex hosted the kyrgyz kurosh competition of the VI World Nomad Games.
Eighty-one athletes from 43 countries took part.
Winners and medallists:
Up to 60 kg:
- 1st place — Tolubay Shukurov (Kyrgyzstan)
- 2nd place — Zhamolliddin Nematullaev (Uzbekistan)
- 3rd place — Giorgi Inashvili (Georgia)
- 3rd place — Munkhbat Gankuyazh (Mongolia)
Up to 84 kg:
- 1st place — Azizkhan Musabek uulu (Kyrgyzstan)
- 2nd place — Khusan Abdukhamidov (Uzbekistan)
- 3rd place — Navruz Karimzod (Tajikistan)
- 3rd place — Atageldi Tezhendurdyev (Turkmenistan)
Over 100 kg:
- 1st place — Baktiyar Mirlan uulu (Kyrgyzstan)
- 2nd place — Almas Zhumagali (Kazakhstan)
- 3rd place — Sarvar Ikromov (Uzbekistan)
- 3rd place — Bat-Orshkin Batsuuri (Mongolia)
The medallists received cash prizes:
- 1st place — 150,000 soms
- 2nd place — 100,000 soms
- 3rd place — 80,000 soms
