Kyrchyn, 3 September 2026. Horseback archery competitions with athletes from more than 30 countries are under way at “The Nomad Universe” ethnocultural town as part of the VI World Nomad Games.
Today 35 women competitors showed their skills. In the women's category they rode in the Kyrgyz style of horseback archery, demonstrating accuracy, control of the horse and precision while shooting on the move.
Tomorrow the competition continues for men, with 72 athletes entered.
Horseback archery is one of the most spectacular events on the programme, combining the traditional art of archery with high horsemanship.
