The first stage of the international horse marathon “Köchmöndör Jürüshü” has finished at the VI World Nomad Games. On day one the riders covered 50 of the total 300 kilometres.
After the first stage the interim standings are as follows: the team of Kazakhstan leads, the Ala-Too team (Kyrgyzstan) is second and the Issyk-Kul team (Kyrgyzstan) third.
Another 250 kilometres lie ahead.
The 300-kilometre horse marathon is being held at the World Nomad Games for the first time.
