Medical posts, ambulance crews and a mobile hospital are at work across the venues of the Games
CHOLPON-ATA, 2 September 2026. Medical cover for participants, guests, spectators and staff of the VI World Nomad Games is in place at all the main venues. Medical posts, mobile medical units, ambulance crews and a mobile hospital are on duty.
Between 27 August and 2 September 2026, 507 people sought medical help across the venues of the Games. Most of them were treated on the spot.
“Medical help for participants, guests and everyone at the venues of the World Nomad Games is being provided as normal. All the necessary medical services are on site and ready to respond quickly. We urge participants and guests who feel unwell to go to a medical post in good time and not to put off getting advice,” said the Deputy Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulbara Ishenapysova.
Particular attention has been given to the Kyrchyn valley, where large numbers of participants and visitors are concentrated. Since 27 August, six medical posts in yurts, a mobile hospital of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and ten ambulance crews have been working there.
Of the total, 341 people were seen at the Kyrchyn medical posts, 126 of them at the ministry's mobile hospital.
According to Gulbara Ishenapysova, most of the cases in Kyrchyn were requests for medical advice, including raised blood pressure and blood sugar. A few minor injuries were also recorded.
“In Kyrchyn medical help is available right on the event grounds. Medical posts, the mobile hospital of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a mobile unit and ambulance crews are all at work. Where necessary, specialists treat people on the spot or arrange their transfer to the appropriate medical facility,” the deputy minister said.
She also asked participants and guests of the Games to seek medical help promptly when they need it.
Visitors who need medicines can use the El Aman pharmacy point at the ethno-bazaar in Kyrchyn.
Medical cover for the VI World Nomad Games continues at every competition and cultural venue.
