Around 150,000 people visited the Kyrchyn gorge, one of the main venues of the VI World Nomad Games, on 1 and 2 September.
Alongside the sporting competitions, cultural and ethnographic events are held in the gorge.
Nomad villages representing the regions of Kyrgyzstan have been set up there, with national traditions and customs, folk crafts, national games, music, national cuisine and the traditional way of life of the nomads on full display.
Besides local visitors, Kyrchyn draws foreign guests, athletes and representatives of the international media, who have a chance to come closer to the rich cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
The VI World Nomad Games began on 31 August and run until 6 September.
