Kyrchyn, 2 September 2026. Cultural events of the VI World Nomad Games are under way in the Kyrchyn gorge, where foreign guests and representatives of the international media are getting to know the rich heritage of the Kyrgyz people, the traditional way of life of nomads and the national character of Kyrgyzstan.
The cultural programme gives particular attention to the Kyrgyz nomadic civilisation. Guests saw yurts, objects used in the everyday life of nomads, the work of folk craftsmen, national costume and elements of the equestrian games.
Through music, national games, folk crafts, national cuisine and traditional rituals, Kyrgyzstan shows the world the unique way of life of the nomads.
This heritage is presented not only as a part of history but as an important part of the country's contemporary cultural space.
The atmosphere is created by young men and women in national costume, by the work of Kyrgyz craftsmen, by national art and by the beauty of Kyrgyz girls — all of it letting foreign guests come closer to the colour and culture of Kyrgyzstan.
