On 1 September 2026 the first press conference for Kyrgyz and foreign media on the staging of the VI World Nomad Games in the Kyrgyz Republic was held.
The press conference was attended by representatives of state bodies and the organisers of the VI World Nomad Games:
- Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulan Erkinovich Mamatkanov;
- Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Salkyn Satarovna Sarnogoeva;
- Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulzat Tynybekovna Ismatova;
- Deputy Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bolotbek Ashyraliev;
- Director of the State Agency for Tourism under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Eduard Kuatov;
- Chief Director of the VI World Nomad Games Altynbek Askarovich Maksutov;
- Head of the Secretariat of the World Nomad Games Nursultan Nurlanovich Adenov.
At the press conference the participants spoke about the main lines of preparation for the VI World Nomad Games and how they will be staged.
