Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic — The World Nomad Games 2026 now have an official mascot. It is the snow leopard — one of Kyrgyzstan's most recognizable symbols, which will now become part of the visual and communication identity of the Games.

The choice of the mascot was presented as part of preparations for the World Nomad Games 2026, which will be held in the Kyrgyz Republic and will bring together participants from different countries in the sports, cultural, and scientific programs.
The snow leopard was not chosen by chance. This image is closely tied to the nature of Kyrgyzstan, its landscape, character, and cultural code. In the context of the Games, it symbolizes strength, dignity, respect, and inner balance — qualities close both to sport and to the philosophy of nomadic culture.
"The snow leopard is an image of Kyrgyzstan, where strength is combined with respect, and traditions are open to the world. Through this mascot, we wanted to convey the spirit of the World Nomad Games 2026 — dignity, balance, and openness to interaction," the International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games noted.
The mascot's visual image brings together the nature of Kyrgyzstan, the nomadic heritage, and the modern voice of the project. It will become an important part of the Games' further communication and will be used in informational, visual, and creative formats.
The snow leopard is not just a mascot but an image that reflects the character of the host country and the values of the World Nomad Games 2026 as an international platform uniting people through sport, culture, and knowledge.
The World Nomad Games 2026 is an international project in which traditions continue to sound modern.
